Eric Lemelson

Eric Lemelson owns and manages Lemelson Vineyards, a producer of Pinot Noir and other varietal wines located in Carlton, Oregon. He is also Treasurer and a Director of the Lemelson Foundation, a family foundation based in Portland. The Foundation supports invention and innovation for sustainable development in the United States and the developing world.

Gregg Kantor

Gregg Kantor is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Northwest Natural Gas, the largest supplier of natural gas in Oregon. Gregg previously served in various roles with the gas company. Before that, Gregg worked for PGE and the Bonneville Power Administration, and served as Governor Goldschmidt’s Communication Director. Gregg serves on a number of public organizations including the Oregon Business Council, the Portland Business Alliance and the United Way of the Columbia-Willamette Valley.

Jim Piro

Jim Piro is president and chief executive officer of Portland General Electric (PGE) and has 35 years of experience in the utility business. Prior to becoming CEO, he had served as executive vice president of Finance, chief financial officer and treasurer since 2000. Since joining PGE in 1980 as a civil engineer in Generation Engineering, Piro has been integrally involved in a number of strategic company initiatives.

Angus Duncan

Angus Duncan serves as Chair of the Commission. Angus has served as President and CEO of the Bonneville Environmental Foundation since its formation in 1998. The Foundation is a non-profit business venture that generates revenues from regional and national sales of renewable energy and carbon-offsetting Green Tags. Prior to BEF, Angus served on the Northwest Power Planning Council from 1989 to 1995.
