Andrea Durbin is Executive Director of Oregon Environmental Council. Prior to that, she worked as an independent consultant based in Brussels for two years, and for over ten years as a senior manager for national environmental organizations in Washington, DC. She has published articles, testified before Congress and served as an NGO Representative on the US delegation to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris.

Dr. Mark Abbott is an ex-officio member and serves as a vice-chair on the commission. He is Dean and Professor in the College of Oceanic and Atmospheric Sciences at Oregon State University. He received his B.S. in Conservation of Natural Resources from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1974 and his Ph.D. in Ecology from the University of California, Davis, in 1978.
